Brock has served as President/Chief Executive Officer since founding Career Management, Inc. in April 1998. His aggressive pursuit of face time with the staffing industry’s leading experts led him to become the youngest member on the Board of the National Association of Personnel Services in 2001. To date Mr. Boyd has completed over 500 successful searches. In May of 2000 he was featured in the NAPS newsletter for his accomplishments and vision. In addition, he received his CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) designation in 2003. He has also produced and delivered seminars on interviewing skills (for candidates seeking positions as well as hiring managers). He has been hired to deliver sales training to multiple companies as well as consulting several companies on the process of building/hiring a sales organization from scratch. Brock graduated from Old Dominion University where he was a NCAA Division I Collegiate Wrestler. He lives in Vienna, VA with his wife and son.

Jeff Ackley began working with CMI in 1999 as a Sales Recruiter. During his first year as a recruiter, Mr. Ackley received recognition for the highest sales of any rookie recruiter in CMI’s history. His perseverance and dedication to both his clientele and CMI led to his promotion as partner of the firm in 2001. While Mr. Ackley is well-versed in all areas of the recruiting business, he specializes in the placement of senior technology professionals and marketing executives for some of the most respected companies in the DC region. He has helped to generate millions of dollars in revenue for some of CMI’s largest clients, placing hundreds of qualified candidates during his tenure, reflecting his ability to align his candidates’ aspirations with his clients’ opportunities.</p> <p>Mr. Ackley graduated from West Virginia University with a B.A. in Sociology and currently lives in Chantilly, Virginia with his wife Rebecca and their four children. He is also a member of The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS).

Meet Director of Business Development Colin Niewald, who joined CMI as an Associate Recruiter in January 2012. In his time at CMI, Mr. Niewald was Rookie of the year 2012, a multi-year winner of the “most prestigious clients” award, and he brought on more new clients in 2013 and 2014 than anyone in the company. He is consistently one of the top 3 performers in the company, as relates to both revenue and customer satisfaction, and has successfully placed hundreds of candidates. Although he has experience in all areas of recruiting, Mr. Niewald specializes in sharing best practices/insider knowledge about the industry and hiring trends with candidates, as well as consulting with emerging tech companies on how to identify and land top sales talent in the D.C. market. Mr. Niewald graduated from Radford University with a B.A. in Business and currently is a resident of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also a member of NAPS. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his puppy Thor.
As the first point of contact for many candidates and clients who come to CMI, Elizabeth Malavathu is passionate about providing a quality customer service experience that helps the ease the hiring and job seeking process. With a background in executive support and project management, Mrs. Malavathu is experienced in developing intuitive and efficient processes that help to make everybody's job a little easier. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, with a minor in History, from Grove City college, and currently resides in Fairfax, VA with her husband.
